Privilege Authority comprises both a server and client application and uses Microsoft Group Policy to distribute rules between the client and server.
The server application should be installed on a server and requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run. The client can be installed on any Windows workstation or server.
The following applications are necessary for proper installation and operation.
Server System Requirements
- .NET Framework 2.0
- Microsoft Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) version 5.2 or higher.
Server OS Requirements
- Windows Server 2003 SP1 or higher
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows XP SP2 or higher
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
Client System Requirements
- No requirements
Client OS Requirements
- Windows XP SP2 or higher
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
