Lets say a put in a run for a folder path, it's not working. Can I edit the path in the reg hive to get it to work then do to the server and put the right one in?

If so that would greatly reduce the time to test and get a rule working.

I agree that you need a facility to reduce the time to test a deployed rule. Although most immediate thing that comes to mind is an option to alter the registry settings on the client machine as a way to test it fast, it is neither a safe, remommended or supportable way to achieve it. One facility that we do offer is the "Test" button on the console that would allow you to test the rule on the machine where PA console is deployed. Let me know if that would help you. If it will not help in your case let us know why so we can explore alternatives for your scenario. One possible option is to offer that "Test" capability as a seperate tool that can be used on any client machine (without deploying the entire PA Console). Let us know if that would work in your case. Looking for suggestions so we can decide the best option to help users test & troubleshoot rules quickly with minimal effort.
